Andy joined the TrapTester (FAPS) programming team in its relatively early days, in 1991, and has continued to work on the development since then. He has a degree in geophysics from Newcastle University and worked as a geophysicist and software engineer for several years before moving to Badleys.
Andy's particular skills are in the development of 3D visualization tools and core database design. He was solely responsible for implementing within TrapTester the first 3D display module and its underlying database technology. Also, being responsible for the tight two-way link up between TrapTester and Landmark's OpenWorks, he has gained considerable knowledge of the OpenWorks system.
Andy continues to work on many core aspects of the design and implementation of TrapTester.
