Helen joined Badleys in 1989. Having originally trained, worked and published as a freshwater biologist (in charge of zooplankton research at the Water research Centre, Medmenham) she had a career break to raise a family. Then, having moved to deepest Lincolnshire, she swapped sciences to geology by joining us to provide technical support to ongoing project work. Since then, however, Helen's ordered mind has come to the fore by authoring our TrapTester manuals and online documentation, a task which seemingly has no end.
In her time at Badleys, Helen has probably inadvertently learnt more geology than she ever intended and in 1996 had perhaps the distinction of being the first biologist to be an author of a paper in the Journal of Structural Geology.
Helen continues to provide technical backup for project work and currently authors the documentation both for TrapTester and TransGen products.
