James joined Badleys in 1994 as the product of a local IT training centre.

Originally employed as a software user he quickly picked up system administration skills and then developed an aptitude for programming. This was put to good effect on day-release courses where he worked towards an HNC qualification. James was quick to recognize the potential benefits to our scientific user-base of programming in the cross-platform Java environment.

James is a key member of the software team implementing the latest 3D graphics technology within TrapTester.
