Pete raised over £430 for the West Yorkshire MS Therapy Centre in Leeds, sponsored by friends, colleagues in Badley Geoscience and Midland Valley, at the London Triathlon held on the 6th August.

The London Triathlon is a full Olympic Distance event starting with a 1500m swim in the Royal Victoria Dock, followed by a two 20km bike ride form the dock west towards to the Tower of London, turn around, then back to the City of London Airport, then back to the docks again to start the second lap. The run leg of the race comprised two 5km laps round the docks.

Pete completed the course in a very creditable 2 hours 53 minutes and 37 seconds.
