SfMarginXL is a new software tool being developed by Prof. Nick Kusznir at Liverpool University, in collaboration with Badley Geoscience.
SfMargin is a forward modelling program which models the process of continental breakup and ocean basin formation at the whole lithosphere scale. Output includes crustal scale cross-sections across the continent-ocean transition, plotting the implications for heat-flow history as a result of the breakup process.
SfMargin was originally developed as part of the iSIMM project and is being further developed via the MM2 project. If you belong to any of the MM2 partner companies (see below) and would like to know about obtaining or using SfMargin please contact us.
