Speeding up the viewer

Can I just view the ECLIPSE model without doing all the fault calculations?

Yes. Click "on" the Do not calculate fault properties option on the Miscellaneous Options page in WizGen. ViewGen will then load all the model data, but will not perform any calculations at the faults.

Is there a 'restart' option so that I can view my results without re-calculating them every time?

Yes.  First you must save the fault calculations (i.e. all the fault attributes) in a session file, by specifying this using the TGRPT and TGXRPT keywords - follow links to see details.  Then when you start your next session, specify the name of the session file after the project name:
