Properties display

While basic information on a selected cell, fault connection or fault trace can be displayed in the Messages text bar under in the main ViewGen window, more detailed information about each of these object types can be displayed in the Properties window (new to the TransGen version 3.2 release).  

To open the Properties window, click on the Property display... option in the ViewGen Edit menu.
When first accessed the Properties window is blank as shown below.

With the Properties window displayed, click the left mouse button with the Control key held down on a particular cell, faulted connection or trace in the main ViewGen window to display information on that object in the Properties window, as shown in the examples below:-

NOTE:- See the section on Traces and Fault zones for a detailed description of this new object type in the TransGen version 3.2 release and the sections on Trace Properties and Fault zone properties for details on the properties displayed for a selected trace.

HINT:- A property name may be labelled as "Unrecognised" due to a known problem restricted to the label name in the Property Display window.
